RockyAussie Posted August 27, 2016 Author Report Posted August 27, 2016 Thanks for the compliment, they were a lot of concentration effort in a very short time frame. Quote Wild Harry - Australian made leather goodsYouTube Channel Instagram
bikermutt07 Posted August 27, 2016 Report Posted August 27, 2016 They are really pretty and well done. I'm curious though.... Why the asymmetrical look? It looks beautiful, just confuses me a little. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
RockyAussie Posted August 28, 2016 Author Report Posted August 28, 2016 Yea had me going a lot too as the original rough drawing with only outside dimensions was mostly Chinese and got little better as further pictures progressed.(cox meant cow). I drew up the cad drawing to get their confirmation and a request for 5k deposit up front and they paid. Go figga. Quote Wild Harry - Australian made leather goodsYouTube Channel Instagram

RockyAussie Posted August 28, 2016 Author Report Posted August 28, 2016 Just to clarify I'm talking Aussie dollars and that means closer to 4000 US and saltwater croc is a fair bit more $ than alligator. Every bit of that soft leather and croc had to be bookbinder fabric backed, cut straight by hand, edged, ironed attached, freeehand sewed and all in a week.Let me know what you think when you get a similar job.Wife recons it should have been 12k but they are good friends so 1/2 half it is. bikermutt07 Posted August 28, 2016 Report Posted August 28, 2016 Not doubting the talent, just seemed like a lot for placemats for a one off event. They look wonderful. Thor Posted August 28, 2016 Report Posted August 28, 2016 Congrats to that job. Well done! Are you talking about your PDF presentation? It covers it all in my opinion. If you're thinking of better presentation in the meaning of advertisement you might want to consider better photos including a photos of placemats with china on them. Quote
