Western style holsters!

I have stated before we are new to the leather working ( Since April of 2016).  We take all feedback and learn from it. LOL. Here are a few holsters that we have done.  The one that was tooled was our first tooling job that we had ever gotten.

HEY... these are lookin' good!  I personally like the natural (last) one, but I've always liked natural leather.

It may just be the angle of the lighting, but the tooled one, the belt and holster appear to be a bit different shade.  I always make a point of cutting the holster and belt from the same hide - minimize any variation.  But, it still looks good, and nicely done stitchin' and edgin' never hurts a thing

Look pretty darn nice IMHO. 

If I was making them  I would burnish the edges on the bullet loops so that it goes with the rest of the rig. Not sure if they are on yours but the photo it doesnt look like it. It adds a little touch that I imagine some would look at and its relatively easy. 

The tooling is hard to see details, a closeup I think would allow some good advice in that area.

LOL....  Good eye JLSleather.  It was closer to color in person than what the photo shows. There just wasn't enough of the leather that I had on hand when I got to the holster and it was cut from 2 different hides.  The other 2 were cut from the sames hide for both of the pieces.  The very bottom one was lined with 6 oz horse hide on the inside.  I am partial to the natural color myself!

Not a very good photo.  But, I did find one that was a little closer of the tooling.
