4oz chrome tanned  stitched all around with #138 on a CB4500.

The 2 screw back conchos used to decorate the line #24 snaps are from Tandy

Any comments including critiques are more than welcome

I'm usually not into this style of leather working, but this too beautiful not to love. I really like how minimal it is.

Those are called "boot eyelethooks" ...as far as i remember i  bought them on-line long time ago for a different project , but it works great as a chain attachment on wallets

Very nice! Very clean!

I am wondering, what is the purpose of the curved lifted piece in the center?

I noticed that both wallets have it.

thanks

Joel

It's a flap that covers the pocket and secure change or smaller items when the wallet is closed . In the past i used to put a zipper on that pocket. I will take a picture from a better angle if you want

Yes,, please, I would like to see how it works.   It is nice to see something I don't understand at my age.

I like the clean simple look your  wallets have. Have you used this design for awhile?

thanks

Joel

I too would be interested in the patterns. I don't want to do zippers.

Here is a picture of the pocket open and the flap that secures the small items inside it...instead of the zipper

Ok I think I understand your method. The flap covers the two pockets when closed, but gives easy access when the wallet is open. I didn't see the larger pocket from the other angle.

Thank you for taking the time to explain your design to me.

thanks

Joel
