You should be able to find the bottom part at Lowes or another building supply store...then just purchase the correct screw that fits.

I think I have seen those used in old auto body construction. Try your local paint and body store.

Go to the hardware store and look at the t-nuts...these should be in that area.

t-nut is the answer.  Slide in t-nut.  Amazon, grainger, mcmasters, everyone carries them.    and about 10 different varieties of them.
