What brands of thread are people using these days for small leather goods?

I already bought a spool of Ritza Tiger Thread. But have a lot of options that you can choose. Some guys here in the forum tried some threads coming from China and they said is not a high high quality but for the price is nice.

Edit: here you can find some talks and references

I typically use Fil Au Chinois Lin Cable, Campbell's Satin Laid Linen, and Coats Barbour Linen thread.  On occasion I use Tiger thread.  All of these threads stitch very nicely, my preference is in the order listed.

I have taken a liking to serabraid.  You can get it from RML, Southwest sewing machines out of Houston and also solar sewing machines on here

Most of the time I use Maine thread, or the generic polyester braid, when the final product is for someone else.  For myself I prefer the look of linen, and definitely prefer sewing with it.  I use a private label, Barbours (from 1 cord to 7 cord, but mostly 3-4 cord), and more recently Filled au Chinois Lin Cable 432 @ 7.5 spi.

When I was broke I used nylon machine 138 thread for fine stitching around 8 spi.  When I first started I used Nyltex but, boy, that stuff is chunky unless you are making rugged-style goods.

I prefer to dye my thread with the same dye I used on the leather, and that makes the two go together well imho.
