Members Elvis Posted May 9, 2017 Members Report Posted May 9, 2017 (edited) Hey friends. That's my first shoulder bag project. I didn't finished the edges with bees wax just use the tragacanth to smooth it. I took a project from tboyce as a reference and adapt it don't using nothing than leather, thread and glue. Members AZNightwolf Posted May 9, 2017 Members Report Posted May 9, 2017 Very nice. I like the stitching patterns. I like the closing mechanism too. Tight thread on that one. The strap seems lonely, have you considered stitching around the border? I think that would "tie" it to the bag better Quote
bikermutt07 Posted May 10, 2017 Report Posted May 10, 2017 Keep it up. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
