TheHernandezWorkshop Report post Posted July 24, 2017 So I managed to get my hands on some couch leather/upholstery leather. It's real and stuff , tested it and stuff and yep , it passed. It's beautiful stuff , I'll be putting pictures up later I was wondering if I could make wallets and stuff outta this , I'm not sure about the edges , it's kinda flimsy (moves around a lot when I try to slick it) But my real question is , can I actually burnish this or would it just waste my time ? bikermutt07 Report post Posted July 24, 2017 Something that thin you will probably want to turn the edges instead of burnishing.
electrathon Report post Posted July 24, 2017 No, it wont burnish. Best answer is to skive and turn the edge. Another possibility is to paint the edges.
