craftsman827 Report post Posted August 9, 2017 I'm looking to purchase a new awl haft. I have an Osborne #143 & it is fine. Been using it for years. Recently I purchased Tandy's " pro awl", which broke in 1 month ! The whole metal part comes out when I tighten the blade. Just like some suggestions on which hafts you all use.
