Finished this up on the weekend.  Tasman Crazy Horse hide, hand stitched with #207 bonded poly thread , 5 spi.  I will definitely do another with some slight tweaks.

Very well done, nice design! I like how the gusset is attached to the bag, also the decorative buckles idea.

Nice and clean design well done.

I also noticed the return on the gusset and that's a nice touch.

I love the bag!  What do you mean about the "return on the gusset"?

the way the gusset is attached is that there is a strip sewn to the front and back panels which points inwards - then the gusset is attached to this strip and returns outwards - creates a neat "depth" to them to my eye

Ok, I see what you're talking about.  That is a nice touch.  I had noticed the look, but was blind to how it was achieved.  Very nice detail.  Thanks for explaining Plinkercases.  Great job Kncorey.

Great Job,  Love the look and the leather.

Do we even want to know how many hours you have in just the hand stitching alone?

Thank you, many hours, it's true, but I see a raw edge, I have to stitch it, if just for decoration!

Thank you, the gusset is more interesting when done this way, I agree.

Very nice work!

Do you have a pattern for this that you would share?

Thanks, and thanks for asking, but I'm going to make this style for sale, so no sharing :)
