saam8426 Report post Posted October 24, 2017 Hello everyone. I've been creeping on this site for a long time, and have learned a ton from it. I'm always impressed by the amount of responses on any given topic. Anyway, I decided to finally take the plunge and ask a question: I have been learning on a Sailrite LS-1 for the past couple of years. It was fine for my usage; mainly sewing canvas bags with hand-stitched leather details. A few days ago I was able to get my hands on a Juki LU-1508. I have been able to find lots of info on the LU-1508N, but not on the LU-1508 (which I assume is a older model?) The main difference I can see from pictures is the thread tension assembly. Does anyone have any info on this machine, or the differences between the two?
