Landis #1 Manual (The Regular Landis Lock Stitch Wax Thread Machine Instructions)

Recommended Posts

I stumbled across an original, vintage manual booklet from 1933 titled  "The Regular Lock Stitch Wax Thread Machine Instructions". The machine is more commonly referred to as the Landis #1.

Since I couldn't find any PDF versions of this manual online, I scanned it to PDF for fellow LW folks: Landis_1_Manual_1933.pdf

I decided to format this PDF for digital viewing only - I added a watermark and disabled printing. High quality printed booklets without watermark ($10) and the original ($50) are for sale, send me a PM if you are interested.

Hi

Do you still have copies of the landis 1 manual?

My big Xerox printer that I use to make the booklets is out of service at the moment. I hope to get it going again shortly and print more manuals.

If you let me know I'd possibly be interested in the $50 version, color printed etc...provided I purchase the Landis 1 I'm looking at now.

Did you have a chance to deal with the thick plate for the flat bed?

Thanks!

My large format printer is back in business and I printed a few Landis manual booklets.

That's great.  I'll hook up with you next week.  I'm talking to a seller of a #1 and should be in need of the manual for it.  It's apparently been on display for close to 80 years...is that possible?

I'd like to purchase a copy of the manual if it is still available.
