Outsourcing cutting out leather pieces for large project

Recommended Posts

Good morning all!

I've got a job coming up where I need to make 8 wallets.  Since there would be 48 pieces in total required to complete the job, I'm looking to outsource cutting out the pieces.  Is there a reputable vendor you guys know of that will pre-cut pieces of leather for a fair price?

Thanks!

what mike above recommended would be best, but realistically that isn't a lot that needs to be done.  Just get yourself a good utility knife a box of razor blades and geter done.  Not trying to be sarcastic and You will have to forgive me I cant think the name of the website but if you google 3d printing sources and contact some of those vendors they might be able to lead you t someone with a laser that can do it for you.

first of all I'm not interested in being a die maker.  although capable of making a

suitable die for a small run let's say a thousand cut's it's not like the pro dies offered by

 our advertisers.

these old USMC model C mechanical clickers are ideal for soles, wallets, holsters.

what I can do is give you a quote for your cutting, along with making the die,

my dies are steel rule 2/4 point and ideal for my cutting equip.  they may not

work well on hydraulic equip.

I can understand that, speaking for myself I don't have a hydraulic press per say, I have a 12 ton harbor freight shop press that I use just sayun.
