I've been thinking about doing saddle bags but wasn't sure what leather and weight to use, what did you use to make yours?. Looks great.

I use English Bridle 8 to 10 oz from Wickett & Craig. Their leather is the best.

Thanks

I have used Harness, Latigo and Vegtan for saddlebags but never Bridle. It looks like it has a fair amount of flexibility .. are there other advantages to using Bridle?

By the way ... very nice work!
