Members Alisdair Posted April 18, 2018 Members Report Posted April 18, 2018 Hi guys, Here's my first attempt at a watchstrap. I like the texture of the pigskin. Stitching is okayish. Any advice welcome. Quote
Members charon Posted April 18, 2018 Members Report Posted April 18, 2018 Well done, I like the cross stitch on the keeper. Greetings from the neighbour country! Quote
Members Tugadude Posted April 18, 2018 Members Report Posted April 18, 2018 Nice job. I have a color that would work better so if you want to send me the watch..... What was your thinking on having the fixed keeper and the floating keeper not match? Watch straps are notoriously difficult to do well. Even high-end houses have the occasional wonky stitch. You did well. Quote

Regarding the keeper being different, I wanted to add a fancy stitch somewhere, but not on the strap itself, which I wanted to be quite sober...so it's just a quirky signature. Quote
