What kind of stud closure is this?

Recommended Posts

Hi, does anyone know what this type of "hinged stud" closure this is? I've been searching for a supplier, but don't know what to call it. All my attempts at defining it for Google have failed. Any help much appreciated.

After a few false starts, I tied these two searches: https://www.google.com/search?q=purse+flip+toggle+hardware and https://www.etsy.com/market/flip_lock I saw a variety of closures that works on the same principle, but I did not see one that was cylindrical as in your photo. Most were some kind of horizontal bar, but maybe this will lead in the right direction...

https://www.google.com/intl/es419/insidesearch/features/images/searchbyimage.html i tried a google image search  (<--- video  example, basically go to google images search and drag/drop the picture in the search bar)

and couldn't find anything like that, I'd call it a "drop lock closure" based off design, but couldn't find it with that cylindar?

The items look like quality items , so it may be just a in-house design by a quality bag maker and not on the general market

Yes, some bag makers have proprietary designs as part of their signature.  So finding an exact one is likely not possible.  Ohio Travel Bag is one I'd reach out to ask.
