Stamps and Letter-sets Vintage Priced to sell

Recommended Posts

Doing some cleaning I've got some letter sets as well as some old stamps I'm happy to move along. All of these tools are at least 20 years old they could all use a little bit of cleaning before use.  Not sure if Craftool or Kelly/Midas on the letter sets.  All as-is.  I also have a bunch of single letters and numbers if you're missing any that I'll sell at $2 each (or later I'll sell some partial sets).

 Prices do not include shipping:

The number 0,2, edgers. Also what is the size of the $10 number set please? If they are 1/2 or 3/4 I will take them as well.  Shipping to 28092? Do you accept PayPal?

The numbers are 3/4", Paypal is fine. pm me or email you paypal address and I'll get you an invoice.  Flat rate envelope will probably be the best at $7.

Though you should come by one day, you're about 2 hours away.

Hi Mike, just wondering what the other edgers are? It looks like there are 3 or 4?

No we're good I think I priced them right.  If not, not big deal:  I hope you and the kids enjoy!

Snap dies are gone!

As are the Watchbands and barrette sets.

Question for Mike or anyone else that might know the answer.. Do you know the type and maker of the 2 edgers sizes 0 and 2 ? They almost look like round bottom edgers but I am not sure.

I have been looking for an edger similar to those but can't seem to find them.

Thanks..

Ed

@Ed in Tx They are both C.S. Osborne. Not sure of the type. What distinguishes the round bottom from other types? I have not cleaned them or tried to sharpen them yet.

I am not sure what distinguishes them other than they leave a more rounded edge. The reason I asked is I saw an episode of "How It's Made" that showed a holster being made and didn't recognize the edger. I contacted the maker and he said it was a round bottom edger made by "Horseshoe Brand". What caught my eye was the length of the toes and depth of the gap to the cutting edge. I have looked at the Horseshoe Brand site and couldn't find anything that looked similar. Also checked every other tool maker I could think of with no luck.

Bottom line, I wanted to get one to try out.

Well I solved the mystery or answered the question.. They are #126 Finest Edge Tool according to the CS Osborne web site.  Here is the link https://www.csosborne.com/NO126.HTM

I checked Springfield, Weaver and a couple of others but they don't carry that specific tool.
