See attached images, actually my mom pulled this out of the Keystone file archives and showed this to me.  First time I've seen this hope you enjoy.

So according to that chart my 51W59 was made before 1940 and the 111WSV77 in 1946 (that's assuming that the WSV's were included in the same numbering scheme, which I figure is most likely). By my reckoning that makes the W59 probably 80 years old at least.

I have one of those charts as well.  I believe any Singer with the W in the model number was made at their plant in Bridgeport, Connecticut which I believe was the old Wilson& Wheeler plant.

Yep, and no records have been found for the W machines. It seems when the factory was demolished the records went with it?

The W- dates aren't in the Singer serial database at ISMACS or on the app.  I'm grabbing them and will get them added to the ISMACS site.
