That is very well done. It's so smooth, and balanced, with nice color harmony. Marvellous stitching, too!
I can't figure out how the little pouch is stitched onto the liner-- can you explain the pattern?

Let's see if I can explain...

The flap is separate, stitched to the main interior piece

The body of the pouch is stitched to the main on the outside only, the side with the flap is not stitched as you can see.

The gussets are stitched on either side of the cut, in the interior of the pocket.

Due to the size the flap is cut it does not permit the coins to fall out.

I'm not sure I clearly explained, it's a bit difficult. It's only my 2nd time doing it this way. Next time I do one, I will try to take step by step pictures. It took me a while to figure this one out, I found no instructions.

I see now -- I couldn't see that those were gussets, and now I understand.  It's an interesting way to do a change pocket.

Lovely work! I'd be proud, too!

So, I think you're saying the bottom of the flap is stitched to the edge of the wallet, so there's just the one line of stitching for the flap and the inner and outer pieces of the wallet?

Absolutely Beautiful!

What brand and model sewing machine did you use on the wallet?

Sam:)

Thanks again! I use a pricking iron to make the holes, from Wuta Leather, a Chinese company which makes some nice quality tools for a decent price.
