My second iteration for this bag, this time bought by somebody on etsy, the first was a gift for a friend. 2mm italian veg tan for body, 4 mm for strap. Turquoise dye from Fiebings  for bodyand Angelus paints for the wave.

What did you use to treat the natural colour as its retained its light colour, mine always goes quite dark relitivly speaking

It's just a coat of Fiebings Resolene. It will surely get darker over time due to sunlight exposure. Do you coat it with something else?

Two thumbs  up!
Nice work -- great colors and execution of those tiny lines in the wave.
I find that woodcut prints (like that wave) make great leather designs.

Stellar!  How big is that bag?  Great work on the dye, very even.

Weird. In some cases i use resolene unwatered, in tooling for example, it still lights back up after drying.

Are there any dividers or pockets inside? I'd like to make one similar for the wife.

No dividers, one single space. It's no meant as a daily bag. But you could eaaily redesign with a divider, pockets for phone, etc.
