I'm looking at the following tools to start with. I already have knives,( I'm a knife hoarder, lol) cutting mat from other projects, so these are the entry level items I think I should get. Please give me your honest thoughts gathered from your expierences.

Thanks,

One of these kits is a really well thought out start. I have ordered lots of times from Wuta. I really like the quality they bring to the table. Shipping from China is slow, but usually free.

This is kind of an upgrade if your budget permits...

I've already made a horse,  lap style,  and I have hammers, knives,  steel rulers, compass etc., just looking at these specific types of tools for now.

Thanks

I think for entry level they are fine.  Certainly won't break the bank.  Many of us have paid as much or more than that whole list for one good awl.  I'd be interested in feedback on the edgers.  If they are sharp and hold an edge, that's a bargain.

I bought the same stitching hole punches and they make small holes and I liked them.

I also bought edge bevelers from Kyoshin Elle, which I would recommend you to do, even though they cost a little more. (I still use mine with good results)

I'll keep this in mind as I progress thorough the new hobby (or addiction as I'm seeing some refer / prefer)

Thanks, Chris
