PFAFF 543 thread problems

Dear Friends

I recently took a PFAFF 543 apart and assembled it again.

I timed the hook, but I have a problem, when the thread meets the bobbin finger. It will not pass and it ends with a jam.

I tried to adjust the bobbin finger position, but this has no effect.

Any idea on how to solve this problem?

Hi Jimi. I replaced the bobbin case cap and moved the bobbin finger slightly - and suddenly it started working. Hope everything is well.
