Thank you Jimi. I only cleaned it and replaced some rusty parts with parts from my wrecked skiver.

I put a foil on the table and used a metal plate to protect the foil.

It is an old machine with knife and feed wheel moving together. The other Dania machine I have for sale, is a very nice machine with two speed. It is actually a very good machine.

How many skiving machines do you have?

I have three - two are for sale.

I sell them relatively cheap - around 350 euros - 220 volts - and working fine.

Hey Danishman i just bought one any recomendations to refernishing it? Did u fine any manual on it? I cant find anything on it. It works just need a lil paint and refernishing it.

It is pretty much a Fortuna 801 clone. 

If you find the manual for a Sunstar skiving machine, it should work.

I would only paint it, if it is really ugly. On the other hand, if it is a project, why not.

I have painted a few skiving machines. Rather than grinding it all the way down, I have used filler and sanded them. The original paint is much

stronger, than what I can achieve. Therefor I find this to be a better solution.
