Has anyone ever carved out a cart wheel?

Recommended Posts

So, here I am stuck again. My next customer wants a guitarstrap with cart wheels symbolising his musical journey and the theme should have the next things, time passing, a life on the road and a little bit of country. So, I’ve sort of figured it out, the sketch below, but I’d sure appreciate some feedback or ideas! That’s a rough sketch, but I thought, it might work...I’ll brace one side dark and the other tan. Is the left or the right better?

Oh, and if anyone’s seen any wheels done previously, I’d love to see them!

Just my opinion but I like the one on the left better, but only if I left the wagon wheels a lighter color than the dark background so they stand out.

I like the one to the right, but only if there's a light wheel on dark background and a dark on the light.

:yeah: right or left, right or left....hey, thanks guys! I will deffinately post what I got done, and, I misspelt branding! Oh, and I’ll use Angelus on the bottom and paint the chart wheels as realistically as I can!

Below’s a pick of another recent one!

This is How its going so far....appreciate comments. It was hard choosing the colour pallet since we ended up with a brighter pallet than earlier.  I’m doing the leaves brighter and the flower in the front red...
