With the deep colds this winter the area i kept my Neats foot got to fridge temp. Not frozen but... it is cloudy/congealed... will bringing it to room temp fix or is the oil "off" now?

Bring up beyond room temperature. If its in a reasonable sized container set it in a bucket of very nearly hot water for a while. After some time give it a vigorous shake. You might need to repeat this a few times. It'll come back to normal. It's only 'off' if it smells rancid

I keep NFO in a mason type jar with a pump dispenser.  Noticed a lot of white particles in it after sitting in the cool basement for months.

Put it in a hot water bath for about one hour and it turned crystal clear again!

I have a jug of NFO that is many years old, probably from the early 50s or even in the 40s.  It had been stored in a shed that was subject to -40C to +35C.  It's still good.
