Adler 69-72/E 42 Needles - Help please!

Recommended Posts

Hey hey!

I've recently bought a great little Adler 69-72/E 42. The previous owner had no idea what it was, and therefore was not much of a help with anything at all.

There is one needle that came with the machine, a - Schmetz 120. I want to get more needles and I know I want them to be LR leather, so that my stitches have angle to them.

Any help would be great, I have looked on lots of websites and all I seem to find is that the Adler 69's use the 134 system?

Thanks!

It appears from your IP address that you are located in Golden Grove So Australia.  You should add that to your profile so you can get responses that are more suitable for your location.

Are you asking for vendors?  If so you are probably more interested in an Australian source rather than USA, Europe or Mars.

Tom

Adler 69 should use system 134

but sometimes they are changed to system 134-35 (both are used on adler 67 ,167 69 etc)

they differ in length so if you want sure to order the right ones:

messure the needle wich came with the machine and compare it to the specs of system 134

if you google you will find the length

Tom, if you're not sure then if you can get to Elizabeth Machines and take your needle with you I'm sure they'll be able to help (they specialise in industrial machines).
