Try these people..

Max Metal s.r.l

As you are in Menton..it may well be worth you while to take a few days ( weekdays ) in Milan and surrounding area to look for suppliers..There may even be some in Gênes . I think you'll have a much better chance of finding a wholesaler ( or a manufacturer willing to do small runs of solid brass ware ) in Italy. :)

ps..In English what you have drawn is a variant of a "D Ring"..a buckle is what you would call "une boucle" :)

If you have a handpress/arbor press, it's supereasy to make one or more of these. You buy brass rod and can bend them easily and numerous times.

I couldn't find that exact shape, but OTB has some options.  Maybe they have them but not on the site or they could get them for you?

paloma is in France , at the other end of it from me.Shipping and Vat ( 20% added onto the value of the goods plus the shipping ) charged by the French offices of whichever shipper OTB uses.. from OTB ( USA ) to France ) would cost more than the things themselves.
Paloma. If you only need a few..and you cannot get to Milan to browse around..look on aliexpress for O rings and D rings, I have seen that pattern there.Cost will be no more than a couple of Dollars / Euros for 10 or so..shipping will be free, might take a while ( China post )..or if eEMS will be quicker, about 5 to 10 days maximum..Customs and VAT china to France for a small amount will be treated under "de minimis"..Duty and VAT will not be added, the small parcel will just arrive at your door.

Also you could try alibaba and go from there. Find direct contact with the factories. They often have overstock items which they sell at scrap prices. I once paid CDN$100 for a 30kg box full of snap buttons, rivets and other similar goods which would be worth thousands if bought locally. All it took was some alibaba searching and a dozen emails to various manufacturers.

Plus , the Shipping on a 30kg box from China ? That is over the weight allowed by China post ( tops out at around 25Kgs, for "parcel" ) or for eEMS..would have to be TNT, DHL, UPS..I don't have the best rates for shipping with any of them from China..But IME if the Chinese manufacturer paid ( they pay subsidised prices ) shipping would still be around $250.00 ( TNT, DHL, UPS ) for that box..Plus incoming customs duty to CA at around 10 % of declared value.

I ordered two lots / items ( one is a laser 30kgs ) last week ..shipping on the laser ( manufacturer paying DHL ) is nearly $300.00 ..the other is items to be transformed / included in finished goods..weight 27kgs..shipping ( DHL again ) nearly $250.00, they are coming from two different suppliers.

If I was paying shipping to DHL at my end, would cost me around 50% more on each..

.And i dont need big quantity i work with 4 or 5 pieces i dont make industrial series.

Try looking at aliexpress anyway for the future..a lot of the resellers will sell under 10 pcs for a lower price than you could get them in your local craft shop..and with free shipping :) ..meanwhile, if you have a "centre accor" near you ? you can get D rings and O rings there for under 2 euros per pair.

I should add..neither the laser, nor the stock items are coming from aliexpress or alibaba..both those sites are 99% resellers, pretending to be manufacturers..Gold badges there are bought not earned , I wouldn't spend more than $200.00 per purchase on either, the risks of getting nothing, or a brick in a box, is far too great, but for small purchases the risk can be worth accepting..There are other venues where one can deal with China where the sellers are actually controlled independently to be sure that they are truly manufacturers, and where the dishonest ones are policed, unlike Mr Ma's establishments.

@Paloma-  two suggestions if I may- I come from a bit of a metalworking background so these may be outside your comfort level- but if not- hope this helps!

  1. 1. if you have a jeweler or a Maker-space near you you could "trade" work for try getting them to cast a few- Brass is not hard to investment cast and the cleanup is not particularly hard. I have a "Maker-space" near me with a casting setup for both centrifugal and vacuum casting- and Brass is cheap. Although I am not getting large amounts done- I have been able to get things cast for my other hobbies reasonably priced.
  2. 2- Look into making or buying a Wire Jig for jewelry work like the one shown below- its fairly easy  to get annealed Brass wire/rod stock at a welding supply house (sold as "Brazing Fill Rod" in the US) that has no lead- anneal it and bend away! A dot of plumbing solder and some flux- and you are in business!

I hope this helps- Be safe and have a great weekend folks!

Paloma..if there is still Balitrand at Cannes la Bocca..you will be able to get brass rod there..or in the zone artisanal at Nice..I can't remember the name of the company at Nice..or drive over the border to Génes..easy to get welding supplies there..even Jewellery supplies.
Nice cheap little wire bending jig that is SilverForgeStudio..here, without going to the specialist shops ( in France they are all in Paris or Lyon ) that would be "unobtanium"..Italy is nearer for Paloma. and Amazon ( even with shipping ) is probably much cheaper than any Parisian suppliers would want for the same jig.
Example Chinese arbor press, 1 ton, in France around €80.00 to €125.00, same press, Chinese, shipped in from Germany via Amazon..€58.00 inc shipping..
None of the French "big box DIY groups" stock an arbor press, most do not know what it is, and yet I have a friend who has 3, old ones made in France pre WWII at Clermont Ferrand or Saint-Étienne, one of them will probably press 25 tonnes..almost all some industries are gone, to the point where many people no longer know that certain tools exist, or existed, let alone that they were once made in their town..

Puts me in mind of ..
