Children's small bag for the niece

Recommended Posts

Finished a small bag as a gift to a five-year-old niece. A little saddened by the fact that a strip-dent appeared on the carved part (left upper corner) caused by a defect in the leather, which appeared after the carving and drying of the leather was completed. Hopefully, over time, it will not be so noticeable.

Criticism, comments and advices will be greatly appreciated.

What defect? I can't see one. It is most stupendous. I'm jealous of your artistry and carving and stamping on this

Your niece will love it, almost as much as she'll love you for having made it for her

You are now her very favourite uncle. . . . . . . like forever

Absolutely Gorgeous ..Love it..love it..love it !!!

the tiny tiny defect is there because perfection is reserved for the gods, so they added the tiny crease when you were not looking..

Did I say.. I love it.. love it.. love it ..!!! ( bow down smiley )

Thank you for compliment!

I really hope she will be pleased.

It is a pity that I can not give a gift to her personally.

You mean this wasn't made in a factory... in China... perhaps? Well, your artistry is legend, sir!

ALWAYS like seeing your use of color.  Tannage is a bit different on this?

No question she's gonna love it.  Hey, I don't even carry a bag and EVEN I love it ;)

Thank you, Jeff!

The real color is beige. There is a very slight difference in the shades of the carved part and the part with the zipper (these are different pieces of leather - 3 oz and 4-5 oz), but in reality this is not as noticeable as in the photo.

That is the cutest little purse I have ever seen. There is art and there is craft, this is art. You should have mom or dad skype or facetime you and let her open it in "front" of you. You only get to see that once.

Thank you! I will definitely ask parents to broadcast on Skype or make a video when they give a gift to a niece.

Thank you! Her birthday is a few days later, the bag has already arrived in the US and will soon be handed over to her little mistress :)

Ok, now I give up trying! ( Not really).  But oh to be a fly on the wall of your shop, when the mastery begins.

Thanks my friend for sharing your amazing talent.

Thank you! Interestingly, her children will also watch Rescue Rangers like her parents sometime? :)
