Arthur Morgan Double Gun Rig.

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Arthur Morgan Double Gun Rig. Inspired from the game 'Red Dead Redemption 2'. Holsters made from 9-10 oz veg tan leather and both fit Colt's SAA with 5.5 inch barrels, belt is made from 6-7 oz veg tan leather, laminated, glued and stitched, both are dyed brown and hand finished.

Regards Forester

That's a great ode to the man, even if he was just ones and zeroes. That was a great game and Arthur Morgan is maybe my favorite character aside from whoever you are in the Far Cry series.

Looks just about perfect @Forester, fine work!

Nicely executed!  Where did you end up finding the buckle?

Really nice build, dark colour of the leather contrasts really well with the brass colour of the cartridges and the one brass pistol.

Forester, clever idea bringing Arthur’s gun belt rig to life. I liked Arthur Morgan, just hated that he was mixed up with a gang of thieves and murderers.  Made it hard for me to play.  I grew up watching John Wayne, so there is good and evil.  The whole idea of good people doing bad things just doesn’t seem right.

Regardless, beautiful work, and interesting way to attach the holster straps. Nice even staining and finish. I bet you had lots of fun with all of them bullet loops.;)  Overall a job very well done bringing the holster to life. You executed the task flawlessly. I applaud your work.

l am not sure where Forester got his buckle, but Chisholm's Trail Old West Leather has a large selection of Movie and Period reproduction buckles. http://www.westernleatherholster.com/western-belt-buckles/
