Push Beveler out of a Creaser

Recommended Posts

I made this Push Beveler out of a C.S. Osborne #3 single edge creaser. Didn't turn out to bad.

Nice work!  You got a good finish on the face of that beveller.

Must... resist... urge...

Must... hide.... creasers....

Seriously though, nicely done.  Now I'll have to find one of my Gomph creasers and start to grinding... or maybe I'll find a cheaper version on Ebay... :)

I suspect I'll be trying this in the near future.  I have a push beader and I really like it, a swivel beveler and it is ok, been wanting to try out a push beveler and this may be a way to do it!

The new Osborne push beveler may be fine, but I cant find a picture of the profile. Another tool maker is selling them for 55 dollars plus 10 dollar shipping. I had two #3 single edge creasers. So I figured WTH give it a go.
