Split ear headstall and reins set

Recommended Posts

I recently made a split ear headstall with matching set of split reins for a customer. He wanted them for a new custom handmade bit he got from a maker in CA. Heave Hermann Oak harness, with a custom center bar buckle. BDFC8E5E-B296-446B-8B52-FEF46941A65B.thumb.jpeg.63e0352eee9c6e2f524130d03e604252.jpeg

Thank you. Most all of my tack is made for working cowboys.

I really like that headstall. Clean and ready to use for a really long time.

Thank you .... I make one in a browband style with the same leather. Nothing fancy .... simple, made with great leather .... unless  a customer wants really nice buckles. I just finished one up with stainless cart buckles and it will be a working cowboy headstall.

Nice! I like where you placed the buckle... If it's too high, it is in the horses eye, may not matter to some, but it's something I look for in a headstall. Good job!
