Kids played anywhere that there was an open area, vacant lots, backyards, etc.  Not much of this today.

Thank you.. We played in a pasture, Sometimes the ball was not a ball at dusk.

Yes jumpers for goal posts or a cork cricket ball no pads because you could not afford them and did that ball hurt when it hit you fun days though.

yea we played in an old vacant lot lol, and when there wasn't a game we would swipe green crab apples off the tress and practice our hitting skills lol. I love your work friend!!

Those were the times. Thanks- Just an old man and his childhood and a relaxing way to demonstrate them

Sorry can't resist we had something a lot more scary than ground rattlers to contend with this side of the pond called dog mess the polite way to put it.
