Friend of mine asked if I could make new handles for this trunk.  I obliged and asked what it is for and he said he planned to clean it up for his Mother.  While discussing it I leaned a moose and pine cone theme would be nice.  So  I kinda got out of control and did handles, moose ,clean up , relinded the  inside and made a tray.  Just figured folks might like a look.  Couple before and of course after pictures in there.

Good save @Rossr! That old thing cleaned up really well and your additions look great without taking anything away from the old identity of the trunk. Well done :)

I have a terrible soft spot for fixing up old things .  Thanks for the kind words

I did some practice moose work while.i made new seats and backs for these director chairs. The green canvas one I sewed the moose cut out from the leather chair one.
