Before eco-flo gel antique

Recommended Posts

Hi every...

Excuse me first, surely what I ask has been answered many times, but my English is not very good for diving and finding, so ...

What product can I applied on leather before add eco-flo gel antique to preserve the natural vegetable leather tone, Neat lac?
You know, to make high contrast between flat leather vs carving leather

Yes, Neat Lac will work. There are several other brands that will work, also. Put the word "resist" in the search area, and several posts will give you more information.

Whatever you put on the natural un-dyed leather is going to darken it a bit.

Neat-lac, resolene, Future/Klear/Pledge with Future Shine 'floor polish' which is acrylic varnish. These will help stop the antique paste darkening the un-dyed parts.

Test what you have on a piece of scrap cut from the same leather as your work piece. Different leathers can react differently.
