Ferocios31 Report post Posted July 31, 2020 Hi guys! Im new to the group and new to the singer 29k I bought. I had this guy working just fine, then after rethreading the top, I noticed that the sewing machine is having issues in the beginning of sewing, like the hand crank is a little harder to get started and the top thread is slightly showing stitches underneath the leather. Any clue what I need to do? I thought tension needs to be tighter on top thread which I did to no avail. Could the machine need to be oiled? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
