Haven't posted in a while...natural Hermann Oak for a 4" Kimber Pro Raptor II

Recommended Posts

Feedback's always welcome.  This is an OWB/belt slide/pancake for a 4" or 4.25" Commander-length 1911.  Ride's high, excellent retention and concealment, slots are for a 1.5" wide, dual-layer (1/4" thick) gun belt.  The leather is two layers of 7/8 ounce Hermann Oak, and the stitching is #346 white polyester on top, and #277 polyester in the bobbin.  I sewed this on my Leather Machine Company/Cobra Class 4P.  The sight-track is molded-in using a wooden dowel and all edges are beveled and finished (including the belt slots).

Fire away! Questions are always welcome, too.

What's to say except very nice. It goes well with the colours of the gun and grips.;)

As always . . . you do beautiful work Bruce . . .

I still crack up at your tag line about squatting with spurs on . . .

May God bless,

Dwight

Thank you--I wish I could take credit, but it's the Hermann Oak leather.  The stuff's a joy to work with.

Thank you for the comment.  I rambled on, but I was trying to cover what I did and what I used.

Classy! Great job Bruce!

Thanks, Josh!  I haven't been doing much this year, but the Leatherworker Forum always motivates me.  I miss hanging out around here and seeing what y'all are creating!
