How do I increase presser foot height??

Recommended Posts

I have a protex ty 3300

hoping someone can tell me how to make the presser foot higher to allow for more layers to go under ? My machine tec did change it last time he was here but am wanting it to go higher. I didn’t quite see which screw he loosened or tightened under the machine where the knee lift is.
sorry I couldn’t upload a photo cause it tells me the file is to large. :l like every other photo I try to upload on here.

@Constabulary any ideas on this one?

I'd would have thought if you put too many layers under the foot, it may exceed the machines capability  ?

You could always compress the image?

Try using FastStone Photo Resizer. I use it often to reduce either the quality or actual pixel size to reduce the file size of images. It is also useful for equalizing one side of a group of photos to make a carousal display of images for web pages.

I never have touched a machine of this type and brand. But looks a bit like the Juki DU-1181. I guess something should be mentioned in the manual.

EDIT:

I guess it is like this:
