Bone Folders/Burnishers

Recommended Posts

As a result of a conversation here: https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/93006-leather-burnisher-hasnt-changed ,  I have a couple of bone folders looking for a new home. Would especially like to see them go to a newbie!

PM me if interested, please.

Having a real bone folder would be cool, but I can't really consider myself a newbie.

Still have one available! But as I'm in Canada, shipping is not cheap. It's going to cost $7.64 U.S.

And I am asking that the recipient pay for shipping.

Oleskiver, how the HECK did you wind up with so many?? And WHY??

Both have now been spoken for. I'm keeping one extra because...y'know...DOGS and bones...if I ever drop one on the floor, and don't notice, I'm pretty sure it's going to be history!

Someone recently posted a video of how they made leather bowls. They had the wet leather stretched over a form and were using a deer canon bone (shin bone) to stretch it and press the water out of it!

So, not all bone folders are the same!
