Pin the Map!

Recommended Posts

We've got people from all over the world, here! Put your pin on the map! Add your picture or logo, too! Include a link if you have one. Let's see where everybody is at!

Ken, it works here and on my kids' computer. Are you allowing Java to run?

It does not work for me. The map says it is loading, and loading and loading. I waited about 2 minutes and gave up. I am on a very fast connection here too.

Click the map once or twice. It's javascript, same as we use for Live Chat. You may want to update Adobe Flash Player to version 9.0.47.0 here.

Just click the blank area where the map should be and it will pop right up.

I've got a DSL line, and I gave up after about five minutes. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I'm so computer illiterate I probably wouldn't understand the ezplanation. :smashcomp:

Works for me....when you click on the link it will open another window. Hover you mouse in the window and click where it says "start......". Then it begins loading....slowly but,,,loads. if you interupt it during loading or don't start the java.....well...I have to close and start over.

Not a nice clean interface but, it does work

Johanna, I downloaded the newest version of Java and it takes about 5 minutes to download on my DSL, and then it's not all working. There is a t the bottom of the map a "Maps by Frappi" a "Map Stats" thingy, a box with an X in it, and a box with a ? in it. But no map.

Yes I did click to activate.

Johanna,

Looks like 30+ people already joined. Can you tell how many have made it? I did see one in Germany and one in Hawaii but, rest in USA

It actually uses Flash to display the map, and seems to work better since I installed a more recent version of it.

I count about 80, at least half left their names. And poor Romey is all by himself, raising cows on ice in Greenland.

Well, I couldn't see the map, Kate, but I could see the pins, and I was able to see lots of those with different folks names. Ah, computers.... :head_hurts_kr:

Whatever it was must have been a temporary malfunction... Everyone appears to be back now. <shrug> Only the sysadmins know...
