hey folks,

So I found a good deal on this Singer 153k103 cylinder arm, anybody have any experience using this with any tips for leather work? I'm definitely gonna upgrade to a servo motor and plan on using it for my business for hats, bags.

I had a Consew 227 that looked similar.  It had incredibly high lift and would sew through anything.  I used it to repair bags on my tractor bagger with no trouble (heavy nylon material plus thick plastic).  Ultimately, the lack of reverse was the big limiting factor.

I'd get another one if it had reverse.

I agree, the lack of reverse will take some getting used to.
