Are these larger 34k versions or what is the reason for this ?

Yes, they are 45k heads not 17k or 16k heads, you can see this in the illustrations above they need more support.

I see a lot of these on the internet.  But the one i own seem to be rare . A 1892 version is from the first year they came on the market !? 

I'm not sure about that !

I don´t know?? the book above is the Kilbowie made machines and was printed in 1907. :dunno:
