Drawing to DXF?

Looking for someone that knows their way around a DXF file

I need someone who can convert a drawing to a DXF file

Frodo, from a paper drawing? Lines? 

How about a photo of it.

I would use inkscape. Free and easy.

thanks for the reply Tom.  If you can pull this off you will be my hero.

Yes i have a picture of a drawing here it is

height of the  oval is 48''  width is  24''' This is going to be 3-- 5 1/6 sheets of steel, with the writing on the 1st and 3rd sheet. the center sheet will not be cut out.  outer sheets powder coat black center sheet powder coat blue

NOTE. the width may have to change to accommodate the width of the lettering/this is understood

I double checked: inkscape can output in dxf format. Here is a link with some info.

Download inkscape it is free.
