Whiskers Report post Posted October 10, 2021 (edited) My first attempt at making a backpack (from a pattern I found on here) and I making shoulder straps that taper from 1.5” down to 1” in width. I’m going to bonding two layers using contact cement, then stitching. My question is: do I cut the taper before or after the layers are bonded together?
