Hazards of being a Redwing Black Bird

One of these days I will figure out the right scene involving a bass and redwing.

My Mom was a profesional Artist and created one of these 

that She gave it to my elementy shcool that was displayed in my 3rd grade class.

Who knows what happened to it . They built a total new shcool on ajacent grounds.

Neat.  I used to ride bike or horse past a slough with lots of cat tails.  A red wing blackbird would come out after me every time.

About the same here. Thing is they are none here now.

By the way ,I am doing a cell phone case. Might be a nightmare,who knows!!!

Grew up with these making a raucous racket every summer living in the desert southwest.  Now I live in the South, and was surprised to hear a flock of them thoroughly encompassing my oak tree outside the front door last spring!  They were here and gone, just passing through, but I was glad they stopped to rest for a day here.

They are around this area in undistrubed areas ,but not here  like they were.
