Bevel Edge Chisel sheaths

Recommended Posts

A friend who is a wood worker, asked me a year ago to make sheaths for his Japanese bevel edge chisel and 2 large bevel edge timber framing chisels. Picked away over the last year and I ally finished the last one and delivered it today.

Japanese chisel - 9” in length was the first one completed and after delivering it to him he has been wearing it everyday (first photos below)

one large timber framing chisel (black case below) is 16” in length

largest timber framing chisel is 21” in length. (Photos to be added in next reply)

He is pleased with how they came out, little fancier than he needed but practical for his use.

That's one of the things I enjoy most about this craft, it's about giving joy to someone from something that came from your work.
