When I was in the 8th grade (about 55 years ago) we visited my aunt and uncle in Jacksonville Beach. Our last night, there was a big storm, wind, driving rain, just plain nasty. Driving back across north Florida and into Alabama it had snowed, and little kids were trying to get snowmen moved into the shade.
