Leatherwork.net Ownershiip

I was told yesterday by a gentleman that works for Tandy, that they acquired Leatherwork.net. Is this true?

Respectfully

I don't know if it's true or not, but after seeing this post I noticed that the supporter ads that usually grace the top of the page are missing. I don't know how long they've been gone for as I usually just skip to the posts.

I use an ad-blocker so I don't see adverts on any forums.

I just turned it off for this site and the usual normal adverts have appeared

I still see 6 ads on top of each page, as usual.

Ad-blocker... Yeah that makes sense.. It's already been one of those days.

No, Tandy has nothing to do with leatherworker.net. When you do order from the folks that do advertise here, please tell them you appreciate them sponsoring the site. They are committed to our goal of "education, entertainment and fellowship" and they are all passionate about keeping the art alive.

I just turned my ad blocker off for this site. If it helps the site I'll leave ads on if it doesn't make any difference to the site I'll turn them off again.

Thank you Johanna. I am somewhat relieved. I was surprised when the Tandy employee told me this and remained in doubt.

If a Tandy employee knew something that was true, that would be new in my neck of the woods. There have been exceptions, I have to admit.
