Longtime lurker learning lots and joining now.

Recommended Posts

I am  rescuer of ?ancient?/viable  neglected or abandoned domestic sewing machines.

After many harrowing, hair pulling  and frustrating  upholstery projects using my toughest  domestics  (Singer 401A, Singer 15-91) i developed a yearning to add an industrial unison or compound feed machine to my collection like the the Singer 111w and similar...

Luckily a non-functioning  machine in very  poor condition,  needing lots of TLC popped onto the radar so i  aquired the Singer 111w155 which is my current project machine.

I have been lurking through Leather Worker forums for tips to help restore my 111w155 as It is one of the best sources  for links and info i have found to help with industrial machines

Thanks to all the contributors that un-knowingly helped me through posts from way back to present.
