  1. Maybe asking the wrong question. Are there any videos out there showing how to carve wings like on the Harley logo? Thx
  2. I want to make some trim pieces for my MC and made my 1st attempt at the design I want. Aside from the need for lots more practice, I'd like to know if there are any tools or changes to the design that would help me make it passible. (That's 1st attempt at leather work period as if it weren't obvious) Doesn't look like the attachment worked so here's the dropbox link https://www.dropbox.com/s/9vj49qby38vp0ii/vWings_first_try.jpg Thanks, Dave
  3. I'm a newbie interested in making some trim pieces starting with a part that covers an access panel on the fairing. The design would just be a large 3" V with wings on either side and something that looks like binding around the parameter. Any tips on what kind of leather piece I'll need? Hoping I . Use that "veg" piece Tandy has that's not too expensive. The whole thing would do writhin a 48" by 7" rectangle. Thx Dave
