  2. Hi there! My name is Mariano, and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm not really a leatherworking person, but instead a woodworking one. On the other hand, I have some ideas for start using the beauty of leather in some small projects, like chests, small boxes, etc. I also like and enjoy old tools.. and as I do this as my hobby, I can take the time to use them. My question is... the other day I picked up a strange tool. I tought it was some kind of rare hand plane for woodworking.. but mmh... it doesn't really looks like. The "bed angle" for the iron is too steep. I was wondering.. may this tool be related in some way to leather working? Any info on it is very apperiacted! Thanks a ton! Mariano
