Hello to all. I was referred to this board by a member and leather worker for 30+ years. I currently have 3 high-end gloves, black(steerhide), red(kip leather) and royal blue(kip leather). All of them are dye through. I am looking for a conditioner that is non-darkening as I would like to keep the gloves close to their original colors.

In the past, I have used Vaseline and also Lexol. Vaseline has been ok and has helped to stop ball spin. Lexol has been really great for those old dried out gloves, but darkens the leather tremendously. I have heard to use Pure Lanolin, but looking at some of the products, they are not 100% Lanolin.

So, I am up for any advice here as I am trying to learn more about leather.
